Design-a-Board : The Secret China Garden

Congratulations to a lovely friend of mine! Maria is due to get wed Summer 2011 and she asked me for a wedding design.  She would love to tie in elements from her family roots, along with her dream vision… a pretty garden theme . However, Maria is concerned that the dark interior will give the opposite effect. Even with dark interiors, this can be made into an absolutely stunning backdrop and be lifted with the pretty pinks and reds I have chosen. Followed by the greens to give her that garden feel. I love candles… and candles in a dark room really creates a romantic soiree. This is a design board that ties in a little of the Chinese elements with orchids, red lanterns and how about some natural coloured fans for guests to use on a hot summers day?  The pinks to tone down the reds and with the green, it brings to mind… a fresh yet super chic celebration… Carms x
