Amy + Neil’s wedding day was on a very warm sunny afternoon back in late April and was the very wedding which kick started my wedding season this year. I met the couple through RMW, Amy planned her day, then during the final two weeks I took care of the last minute details and organisation, followed by Wedding Day Co-Ordination. The day began at Eastwood Hall where the the bride and groom preparations began with their wedding party – I remember walking into the hotel that morning to be greeted by so many excited family and friends passing me in the hotel lobby and corridors. It was so lovely to see everyone so, so happy.
A big thank you to the lovely Emma White Photography for today’s wonderful captures… and just how fab is Amy’s unique and quirky non-floral bouquet, adorned with beautiful sentimental brooches…
St Mary’s Church, Greasley, Nottingham
Guests began to arrive at 1230pm and with a slight chill in the air on high ground, most had quickly taken their seats, eagerly waiting for the bride’s arrival. We had a slightly nervous groom but soon after, Amy arrived with her father and her girls in their vintage cars – gifted by Amy’s father as a sweet surprise.
Holme Pierrepont Hall – Nottinghamshire
Driving across the busy city, we eventually arrived at Holme Pierrepont Hall on the outskirts of Nottinghamshire. The hall, an early Tudor manor house is privately owned by the Bracken family and boasts a gorgeous garden and cosy yet traditional rooms flow throughout.
The super cute flowergirls in their sweet tutu’s!
A cute ‘All You Need Is Love’ wedding cake made by bridesmaid, Faye.
Well, doesn’t time fly? It’s just been over two months since they’ve became husband and wife – Congratulations once again and thank you to the oh-so lovely and fab photographer, Emma, who captured their lovely day.
